Payment & Cancellation Policy

My hourly fees are $100 for a 60-minute personal one-on-one session.

I also offer a sliding scale based on a person’s individual situation. So if you are not quite able to pay the full amount, please talk to me and we can discuss your financial situation and how we can come to an agreement that suits us both.

I accept:

  • Credit Card
  • Cash
  • Cheques
  • Electronic Fund Transfer (Interac).

If you are paying at your session, you may pay by credit card, cash or cheque, but for electronic fund transfer, I ask that you pay 24 hours prior to your session.

Unfortunately counselling is not covered by OHIP. However, some health insurance plans do cover counselling by a registered social worker. Please check your plan to see if you are covered.

Cancellation Policy

At Counselling with Lisa I understand that with today’s busy lifestyle you may periodically need to reschedule your session(s). In order to ensure that Counselling with Lisa makes the best use of its time and provides service to as many people as possible, you must call within twenty-four hours of your scheduled session time to reschedule. If you do not call within twenty-four hours of your scheduled session time to reschedule, or if you do not show up for your scheduled session, you will be charged the full session fee.

Payment, which can be made by cash, cheque, E Transfer, or credit card is due at the end of each session. If paying by E transfer the transfer must be received within 24 hours of the session.
